New material is well received. The CD Blind Windows is finally released. Blind Windows is a collection of all instrumental music textured with early analog synths and Nash's distinctive electric mandolin and violin riffs. The CD was distributed throughout the world and reached #3 on the Canadian Indie Charts.

Nash is at a crossroads. Does he play rock clubs, and try to compete with the latest haircut of the day, or does he emphasize his artistic, more esoteric side?

At Stratengers, anything is possible, so the Lounge Lizard Nash was born.

More lizard than lounge. Playing mainly instrumental music at a quieter volume, the music is hardly mellow, combining the yin and yang of a Buddhist serial killer. The newest evolution is that of video. Big screen and totally wake. Gone are the days of rock and roll lighting. Now you can experience the Nash Video Extravaganza. The visual world according to Nash.

Nash decides to emphasize the artistic side of his vast visual and musical repertoire. Nash The Lounge Lizard makes his debut at Stratengers on Fri. and Sat. Jan 30 and 31. Due to it's electronic nature, the music's volume is totally controlled, so even Thrash can sound pleasant to the ear. The three sets are a combination of two sets of Instrumental Zen Music and one set of Nash Thrash. Blind Windows becomes a major part of the live presentation. Much of the material is demonstrated in the sound and painting presentation of Bombardiers. With a variety of new material, Nash takes on all challenges.

The Sixth Annual Halloween Gig at Stratengers is a visceral performance. Just to show he hasn't lost his touch, Nash performs two sets of Nash Thrash. At the finale, a violin is sacrificed to the gods of electric saws, volume and distortion.

A concert in the Workman Theatre for Mental Health Week, with a 20 minute presentation of the finale to Caligari, the first film (1919) about institutional mental rehabilitation. See Digger's Diary for a further synopsis.

In November, Nash finally gets his own Website up and running with the help of Igor (pronounced EyeGore) and Nightmare Productions. Current gigs and info about CDs and stuff is all there for everyone to see. There is total commitment to the project and many new concepts are on the horizon.
