The winners of the Halloween Gig Contest are John and Lori from Winnipeg. John, who is a die-hard fan, wants his friend Lori to experience the Nash Buzz. Nash, Scotty and John go out for dinner to an Indian restaurant, where Lori will join them later. John and Lori get the silver logo ring and broach, a CD, and all the pestering of Nash they want. It's a relaxed dinner, and they go off to get dressed up in costume for tonight, while Nash and Scotty head to the gig. This casino thing is weird. The presentation is grand and the performance first rate, but Nash wishes that more real fans could see a show of this magnificence, instead of playing to a bunch of Bingoheads. This is not to take anything away from the warm reception Nash got from the many fans who were present, but the size of the room and the number of non-fans was very strange. Nash performed to the die-hards, and the huge screen and stage presentation was on a scale rarely seen at any club gig. Due to the restrictions of the casino, no CD's can be sold at the gig. Too bad.
