Drive to Thunder Bay. 8 hours. Although a bit chilly, the weather is clear and sunny. Nash and Scotty head out on the road. The van is a new rental, and it cruises along without any problems. Just east of Kenora, Nash and Scotty see two Bald Eagles soaring over a clear blue lake, with no signs of a cottage or human habitation anywhere. Canadian wilderness at its best. I wish I coulda been there. Digger |
