This club is the exact opposite of The TownHouse. It has a nice decor and it's located on a prominent downtown street. The audience, however, are not really there to see and hear the music. This club is more of a meatmarket, and the boys and girls are doing what most young people do on a Saturday night, looking to get laid. Why can't they just wag their tails like us dogs? Even Diesel isn't that horny. By the middle of the second set, the audience starts to drift off into other rooms. There isn't much interest in the music. At the end of the night there is only one person who wants a Nash autograph. The clubowner enjoyed the show and wants Nash to come back. This will be an easy gig to do again now that Sudbury is on board. Northern Ontario hasn't seen the last of the Bandaged One. Thanks to Scotty Brown for all his help on the tour. His expertise as a lighting tech as well as a tour manager made these gigs happen without any problems. A pro is worth his weight in gold, and in Scotty's case, that's a lot of gold! How about your weight in milkbones, Scotty?!? The FLB is worth it. I spent the past 12 days hanging out with my doggie pals Diesel, Patches and Jasmine, Juliet the cat, and all the human clan that passes through the door. Every night I manage to find comfy sleeping space at the end of the master bed. Tough luck Diesel. As much as I miss being with Nash, this is like hanging out at the Doggie Hilton. Digger |
