Ottawa is the nation's capital, and as such, I have to watch my paws and whiskers. There are strange people and stranger places around every corner. Why, you could run into Brian Tobin or Tom Green.

If you dear readers remember, on previous occasions I have been nearly barbecued by parking lot attendants and almost lost my hearing at Zaphods.

But this is Babylon, the best club Nash has ever played in Ottawa. The owner Adam and sound tech Justin are always ready to make things work smoothly. There is a vibe to the club that Nash really likes.

I also enjoy the comforts of a sofa in the dressing room and plenty of places outside to take a leisurely dump.

Thom has brought along his friend Kiel from Cornwall to help out with the equipment so Nash isn't completely worn out before showtime. Thom sets up a merchandise booth and we're ready to rumble.

Adam has done a lot of promo for this gig and soon the place starts filling up. Not bad for a Tuesday night.

This is the second time for Nosferatu at Babylon and the large crowd is very responsive. The second set is pure Nash Thrash with the grinder bringing down the house.

There are more Goths out tonight, and Adam wants Nash to come back in February to do a Goth Night and an all-ages show.

Thanks to Bob for helping with the postering. It was also good to meet Chris, Eric, Dave and of course our pal Scott with the sacraments.

Nash, Thom, Kiel and I make the one-hour drive back to Cornwall feeling tired but happy with the start of the tour.
