This is the club we were supposed to play in August but the booking got screwed up. Nash is looking forward to this one. Not just any rock bar can handle a presentation of Nosferatu, but this is Montreal where the bizarre is just a common event. The owner Domenic is glad to see us again and he makes sure I get a comfy chair and a bowl of water while Nash sets up. There's a park just up the road where Nash and I go to check out the french atmosphere. Even the dogs smell different in Montreal. Must be all the smoked meat. The attendance isn't as large as Ottawa but Montreal is catching up quickly. Nash wants to show Montreal in a very short time how eclectic his music is. Jailhouse is a club where Nash can create a fan base. They have been exposed to Nosferatu as well as the Thrash material and from now on any combination will work. We drive back to Cornwall at 3am through an awful rain and windstorm. Winter is on its way in Southern Ontario. Digger |
