Savoy Brown
The Rock Pike
March 8, 1969

One of the original British Blues bands, Savoy Brown seemed to come out of nowhere, but they were all excellent players, with a dynamic lead singer in Chris Youlden.

Their first two albums were really great, but the line-up didn't last and the band went on to become very popular in America but ignored at home in Britain. They played The Rock Pile sometime in March, 1969.
